Description

Sign for Path Twelve (12), in this case the part of it that heads from the beach at Mesa Pigadia to Kambia (or Kampia) Beach (1 hour and 5 minutes from here) and the Red Beach (Kokkini Paralia, 1 hour and 15 minutes from here). Overall, Path 12 is quite long, with a total length of 9,600 meters and estimated hiking time of 3 hours and 20 minutes. The route starts at the old stone lighthouse at the western end of the island and continues past Mesa Pigadia Beach, Kampia Beach, and the Red Beach, ending at the archaeological site. It is a combination of footpath, dirt road, and cobblestones.
