Description

Sign for Path Twelve (12), which here refers to the part of the path that goes from the archaeological site of Akrotiri to the settlement of the same name (12 minutes on slightly uphill cobblestones). Overall, Path 12 is quite long, with a total length of 9,600 meters and an estimated hiking time of 200 minutes. The route starts at the old stone lighthouse at the western end of the island and continues past Mesa Pigadia Beach, Kampia (or Kambia) Beach, and Red Beach (Kokkini Paralia), leading to the archaeological site from which we will take the last part of the path, beginning at the point we show here.
