Description

A short, passable 1,850 meter trail (about 50 minutes total) that starts from Akrotiri and descends the caldera at the picturesque little church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos) of Balo with the secluded beach, and then continues along the coastline and ends at the beautiful Apothikes or Caldera Beach. From there, it climbs a dirt road to the main road. This is where it begins, on the right side of the road to Apothikes Beach (also called Caldera Beach, in 7 minutes).
