Description

This museum was built in 1960 by the Ministry of Public Works to replace the previous museum that collapsed during the 1956 earthquake. It houses collections of sculptures and inscriptions from the Archaic to the Roman period as well as ceramic vases and clay figurines from the Geometric to the Hellenistic period.
