Description

Firostefani is a village just north of Fira, the capital of the island, with which it has been grouped together. Its name reflects its higher altitude compared to the rest of Fira, as it forms the so-called crown (stefani, in Greek) of Fira. The main features of the settlement are the traditional white Cycladic architecture of the houses as well as the luxury accommodation on the caldera, the picturesque lanes, and the unique view of the volcano, Oia, Fira, and the Aegean Sea.
