Description

In Monolithos, the long beach with black sand and shallow water stands out, it is suitable for families with young children. It is basically a continuation of the long black volcanic beach that starts in Perissa and ends in Gialos, Karterados. On the main beach of Monolithos, there are sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, but to the left you will find many quiet, secluded places. Approaching Gialos, Karterados at the point we show here, the beach resembles Vlychada with its impressive eroded vertical pumice rock formations rising up beside the coastal dirt road.
