Description

From the castle/monastery of Saint George the Refuge (Agios Georgios Katefio), Path 4 continues to Episkopi, and from there to the Byzantine church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia). There is practically no path. Descend to the northeast through the fields (most of them no longer cultivated), keeping the northern slopes of the mountain of the Prophet Elias (Profitis Ilias) on your right. The route is very beautiful and relaxing. In the distance to the east we can see the houses of the village of Kamari and the vast Aegean Sea. Here an old stone threshing floor covered with dry grasses brings back memories of other times, when most people were engaged in the cultivation of the soil.
