Description

In an amazing little church hidden in a caldera cave between Oia and Imerovigli, there is a festival on the 4th of August. The church is accessible only by sea (from Athinios, the Old Port of Fira, or Ammoudi) on the eve and day of the celebration. Music, local wine, and traditional fava help set the scene in this unique spot by the sea.
