Description

On May 12, the festival of Saint (Agios) Epiphanios (or Epiphanius), protector of Akrotiri, takes place in the church dedicated to him. Since it is spring, the church is decorated with many flowers. During the festival, beans, capers, sardines, and olives are served. A traditional dance festival also takes place that evening, with dance groups from all over Greece participating.
