Description

Two hundred cobbled steps unite Oia with its seaport, Ammoudi. The steps begin below the castle at the western edge of the village (at an altitude of 120 meters above sea level). For the ascent, you can try (as an experience) the traditional mules that go up and down the 200 stairs morning, noon, and night, panting under the burning sun in the summer.
