At the turnoff for the archaeological site of Akrotiri, turn right toward the lighthouse. After about two kilometers, a dirt road on our left heads to Kambia beach. We follow it, and in two hundred meters, instead of continuing straight on to Kambia, we turn left. After 700 meters the road ends at the bright white little two-part church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, Christ (Metamorphosi tu Sotiros).
