Description

Two typical windmills of Santorini, on the rim of the caldera. We come across them in Megalochori, just before we take the path down the caldera to the baths of Plaka and the church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia). Now renovated, the mills were made of volcanic stones, water, soil, and lime, and their height reached around six meters.
