Description

The elementary school of Thirasia, across from the magnificent parish church of Saint Constantine (Agios Konstantinos). In 2015, Symplevsi (which means "Navigating Together"), a non-profit organization that aims to support and improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the outlying Greek islands, turned the courtyard of the school into a safe, modern place for the children to play and do sports by paving it with special shockproof non-slip mats.
